The MAXTRAX Shackle Shield is designed to act as a protective sheath that slides over the MAXTRAX Core and Fuse shackles to offer extra protection from abrasions and sharp-edged recovery points, prolonging soft shackle life and enhancing safety. Current Independent Recovery Points and Recovery points incorporated into bullbars have frequently been manufactured with a 90-degree edge which is not recommended for soft shackle use as can damage rope fibres during recoveries.
