The K&N Motorcycle Oil Filter KN174C is a spin-on canister filter engineered for powersports engines, using a high flow premium synthetic filter media for outstanding filtration. It suits motorcycles, with ATV applications also catered for, and is built to provide up to 20,000 miles of protection when run with synthetic, conventional or blended engine oils.
A heavy-duty metal canister, reinforced baseplate and leakproof double-rolled seal give the filter the strength to handle racing and off-road use, while the integrated 17mm welded nut speeds up removal even in tight engine bays. An anti-drain back valve keeps oil in the system between rides, reducing dry starts on the next cold start, and a part-specific bypass/pressure relief valve is optimised for high-end synthetic motor oils.
The KN174C is interchangeable with the Fram PH6100 and Harley-Davidson 6379301K oil filters, and is finished in chrome with a nitrile rubber gasket for a secure seal.
