The K&N High-Flow Motorcycle Air Filter KNYA6604 is engineered to increase airflow for improved horsepower, throttle response and acceleration while protecting the engine. Built with layers of premium oiled cotton gauze, the filter traps dirt and contaminants while keeping restriction low, and its washable, reusable design supports a longer service life than a disposable paper element.
The application-specific sealing bead and flexible frame design combine for a precision OEM-style fit, and the filter arrives pre-oiled and ready to install with no fuel-management modifications typically required. An 8 mL re-oiling amount keeps the filter media performing once a clean and re-oil service is due.
This filter suits motorcycles as a direct replacement for the factory air filter element, and is interchangeable with the BMC FM38704 and Yamaha 5VK144510000 and 5VKE44510000 filters. It is not designed for use in cars, trucks or other non-motorcycle applications.
