The K&N High-Flow Air Filter KNYA4504 is a washable, reusable replacement air filter built for ATV and UTV engines, with secondary use on motorcycles. It uses layers of oiled cotton gauze media, a design K&N pioneered in the early 1960s, to capture dirt and contaminants while allowing higher airflow than a standard paper element. The round straight filter measures 159mm high with a 127mm outside diameter and a 95mm inside diameter for a precision OEM-style fit.
Increased airflow through the cotton gauze media can improve horsepower, acceleration and throttle response without typically requiring fuel-management modifications. An application-specific sealing bead keeps the filter correctly seated for reliable engine protection, and the flexible frame design and high dust-holding capacity suit demanding trail, dune and work conditions. Once dirty, the filter can be cleaned and re-oiled with 32 millilitres of filter oil rather than replaced, reducing ongoing service costs.
This filter suits ATV and UTV applications, with secondary use on motorcycles. It is equivalent to the BMC FM41908 filter and the 5TG144510000 and 5TG144510100 filters.
