The K&N Motorcycle Air Filter KNYA1301 is a washable, reusable replacement filter engineered for motorcycle applications, built from layers of oiled cotton gauze for high airflow and strong engine protection. It is designed as a direct replacement for the stock air filter element, giving riders a longer-lasting alternative to disposable paper filters.
Increased airflow through the oiled cotton gauze media can help lift horsepower, acceleration and throttle response, while an application-specific sealing bead keeps the fit tight against the airbox to stop unfiltered air bypassing the element. Once dirty, the filter is cleaned and re-oiled rather than thrown away, with the filter requiring around 33 mL of oil to restore its filtering ability and supporting extended service intervals between cleans.
Suits motorcycle applications specified by K&N for this filter, and is interchangeable with the BMC FM59608 and Yamaha 5JW1445100 air filters. It is not designed for applications outside its specified fitment.
