The K&N Motorcycle Air Filter KNYA1006 is a washable, reusable replacement air filter engineered for motorcycle applications. Built from multiple layers of premium cotton gauze media in a trapezoidal shape to suit the factory air box, it is designed to increase airflow for improved horsepower, acceleration and throttle response without typically requiring fuel-management modifications.
The oiled cotton gauze construction, treated with a tacking agent, traps dirt and contaminants while keeping restriction low, and the pleated media offers a large filtration area for long service intervals between cleans. An application-specific sealing bead and custom seals give a precision OEM-style fit, and the filter can be washed, re-oiled with around 17 mL of filter oil and reused rather than replaced, extending its service life and reducing replacement costs.
This filter suits motorcycle applications and is designed to replace the stock air filter element. It is interchangeable with equivalents including BMC FM45604 and DNA PY10S0601, and is made in the USA.
