The K&N Air Filter 33-5029 (Interchangeable with A1942) is a washable cotton gauze performance air filter for Ford Mustang owners seeking more airflow. Tested to the ISO 5011 filtration test protocol, it captures up to 99% of contaminants while improving airflow over the factory paper filter.
Replacing the factory paper element with K&N's layered cotton gauze media is designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while still trapping dust and debris on everyday drives or at the track. The reusable filter is pre-oiled and ready to install, dropping straight into the factory air box without modification, and only needs re-oiling with 51ml of filter oil once it is time to clean it.
The 33-5029 suits Ford Mustang GT 5.0L V8 (2015-2023), Ford Mustang 2.3L L4 (2016-2023) and Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 (2017), and is interchangeable with Ryco A1942 and WIX WA10315. It is a direct replacement for the factory paper filter and is not designed for engines outside this fitment range.
