The K&N Air Filter KNE-9281 (Interchangeable with A1840) is a washable, reusable panel air filter for Alfa Romeo owners wanting more airflow than a standard paper filter. Layered cotton gauze media is treated with a tacking oil to capture contaminants while filtering up to 99% of airborne dust and debris, and the oval straight panel measures 189mm long, 140mm wide and 245mm high.
Because the cotton gauze media is washable rather than disposable, the K&N Air Filter can be cleaned and re-oiled rather than replaced at each service, and it drops straight into the factory air box without modification. The increased airflow is designed to support engine performance and throttle response in everyday driving.
The K&N Air Filter KNE-9281 suits Alfa Romeo 159 (2005 to 2012) with 1.7 to 3.2 litre petrol or 1.9 to 2.4 litre diesel engines, Brera (2005 to 2010), Spider (2006 to 2011) and GT (2009 to 2011). It is interchangeable with Ryco A1840, Wesfil WA5291 and WIX WA9566 replacement filters.
