The K&N Air Filter KNE-0647 (Interchangeable with A2004) is a washable, reusable cotton gauze air filter engineered as a drop-in replacement for the factory engine air filter in these Audi models. It uses four layers of oiled cotton gauze media designed to trap contaminants while improving airflow over a standard paper filter, and it is engineered to last the entire lifespan of the vehicle rather than being thrown away at each service.
In everyday driving the extra airflow this cotton gauze engine air filter provides is designed to support increased horsepower and acceleration while improving overall engine performance, and it only needs cleaning every 75,000 miles (around 5 years of average driving) rather than being replaced like a disposable paper filter. It installs in minutes because it is supplied pre-oiled and fits straight into the existing air box.
This filter suits the Audi A4 2.0L L4 petrol (2016 to 2024) and Audi A5 2.0L L4 petrol (2016 to 2023), and is interchangeable with Mann-Hummel C170121, Ryco A2004 and Wesfil WA5431, as well as OEM Audi 8W0133843B and 8W0133843E filters. It is not suited to vehicles outside these petrol applications.
