The K&N Air Filter KN33-2458 (Interchangeable with A1787) is a washable, reusable cotton gauze panel filter for BMW petrol engines. Engineered to improve airflow and support horsepower gains, it is backed by K&N's 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty.
The filter uses four layers of cotton gauze treated with a tacking agent to trap dust and contaminants while allowing more air through to the engine than a standard paper filter. Supplied pre-oiled, it drops straight into the factory air box in place of the original element, and can be cleaned and re-oiled rather than thrown away.
This filter suits BMW 135i, 135is and 335i 3.0L L6 petrol models built from 2011 to 2014, and the BMW X1 35i 3.0L L6 petrol from 2011 to 2013. It cross-references to equivalent filters including Mahle LX1791, Ryco A1787 and WIX 49285.
