King Springs Coil Springs Front Pair KTFR-74SP4 feature advanced progressive spring design. These springs use variable pitch and tapered wire forms to suit passenger cars, commercial vehicles, four wheel drives and all motorsport levels including circuit, rally, speedway and off-road racing.
This generation uses X5K high-stress spring steel, a premium material that reduces weight by approximately 30% compared to conventional spring steel while increasing travel and improving suspension performance. Introduced to leading V8 Supercars teams (including DJR/TP, FTR and Nissan) in early 2007, X5K has proven itself through years of motorsport success. King Springs now manufacture all their coil springs in X5K material at no extra cost to the consumer.
