The Kincrome Plastic Welding Kit 10 Piece is an accessory kit that transforms any Kincrome or Tradeflame butane soldering iron into a plastic welding tool, perfect for repairing vehicle bumpers, headlight fixings, cracks, fractures and deep scratches across polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene and ABS plastic parts. Instead of costly replacement or professional repair, weld the damage yourself on-site.
The kit includes 24 welding rods split across four plastic materials: polyethylene (PE) with a 70–75°C melting temperature, polystyrene (PS) at 95°C, polypropylene (PP) at 140°C, and ABS at 117°C, each supplied in black and white 170mm lengths so you can match the repair to the plastic type and colour. Three stainless steel reinforcement mesh sheets (100mm × 60mm) bridge gaps and add structural support to the weld, while a wire brush and tip cleaning rod keep your soldering iron in working order between jobs.
The entire kit packs into a blow-moulded case, keeping every component visible and protected for transport to the workshop or jobsite. Note: soldering iron is not included; this is an accessory kit designed to work with existing Kincrome or Tradeflame soldering irons.
