The Kincrome Ratchet Vehicle Positioning Jack Set 2 Pieces K12193 is designed to let workshops reposition vehicles quickly and safely without rolling them by hand. Sometimes called a wheel dolly, each jack uses a foot-operated ratcheting mechanism that squeezes roller-equipped support legs together to lift the tyre clear of the ground, while 360° swivel castors then let the vehicle be pushed in any direction. Each jack carries a rated capacity of 684kg and fits tyres up to 330mm wide, covering most passenger cars, 4WDs and light trucks.
The Kincrome ratcheting design avoids the maintenance needs of a hydraulic jack: it requires no hydraulic fluid, won't blow a seal or leak, and can be stored on its side without risk of air-lock. The jacks adjust across a 285–660mm range to suit different tyre and wheel sizes, and the 2-piece set weighs 29.4kg combined. The jacks are intended for use on a hard, flat surface only.
