The HardKorr Voltage-Sensitive Relay Kit for HardKorr Battery Box is the simplest way to create a dual-battery system in any 12V vehicle — automatically charging the auxiliary battery from the alternator while the engine runs, then isolating it the moment the ignition is switched off. The VSR engages when alternator voltage reaches 13.2V and disconnects when it drops below 12.7V, preventing the crank battery from being drained by camp loads overnight. With a 50A current rating and inbuilt surge protection, the relay handles common dual-battery requirements reliably and without manual intervention.
Designed to retrofit directly into compatible HardKorr battery boxes, this voltage-sensitive relay can also be used in broader 12V setups where no battery box is involved, making it a versatile dual-battery isolator for touring, camping, and 4WD builds. The compact relay unit measures just 85 x 40 x 38mm, keeping installation tidy in tight spaces.
