The Gulf Western Top Dog Global Plus 10W-40 Semi Synthetic Oil 20 Litre is a heavy duty diesel engine oil formulated for modern fleet and truck engines, meeting the current API CJ-4 specification. It also meets ACEA E9/E7 and JASO DH-2 requirements, and is designed to support extended drain intervals where this is backed by routine oil analysis.
Formulated with high quality base oils, Top Dog Global Plus reduces oxidation and viscosity breakdown over long service intervals, helping protect engines during cold starts, stop-start driving and extended highway running. Its low SAPS (sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur) formulation and strong dispersant properties control sludge and soot build up, keeping engines fitted with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems running cleanly.
Suits US, European and Japanese heavy duty diesel engines, including those built by Cummins, Mack, Volvo, Detroit Diesel and Caterpillar. It can also be used where an API CI-4+, CI-4, CH-4 or SN oil is specified, as a hydraulic oil where a 10W-40 grade is called for, and as a transmission fluid where the Allison C4 specification is required. It is also suitable for use in 4WDs for mixed fleet applications.
