The Gulf Western Gear Lube Low Viscosity 75W-90 20 Litre 32050 is an extreme pressure gear lubricant for manual transmissions, transfer cases and steering boxes. It meets API GL-5 and GL-4 performance levels and is also formulated to the Borg Warner 5M-42, Ford ESP-M2C83-C and Mitsubishi ES-X-64021 specifications. Its low viscosity multigrade formula gives a smoother, faster gear shift than a straight 75W or 80W gear oil.
Gear Lube 75W-90 reduces friction to lower operating temperature and minimise frictional power loss, improving cold shift feel while still running quietly once the gearbox reaches normal operating temperature. The shear stable formula resists breakdown under load, maintaining film strength and continued protection through extended drain intervals.
This gear oil suits manual transmissions, transfer cases, steering boxes and other industrial transmissions calling for a 75W-90, SAE 75 or SAE 80 GL-4 or GL-5 gear oil. It is not suitable for use in limited slip differentials.
