The Gator Surface Mount Reverse Camera G55CL is a compact wired reverse camera that mounts to the front or rear of a vehicle to improve rear view visibility. Its 110 degree wide angle lens reduces blind spots while reversing or parking, and switchable parking gridlines help guide the vehicle into tight spaces. The aluminium housing is rated IP67 against water and debris, and a CMOS image sensor with 0.2 lux minimum illumination keeps the picture usable in low light.
G55CL connects via a 4 pin micro DIN plug at the camera and a standard RCA lead at the monitor end, making it compatible with aftermarket monitors and AV head units with an RCA camera input. It is supplied with a 2 metre power wire and 6 metre video cable, and a built-in loop system allows the PAL/NTSC setting, parking gridlines and mirror or forward facing image to be adjusted during installation.
