The Gates Water Blanking Cap 10mm (3/8") Single GBC10 blocks off unused heater or coolant ports in the engine cooling circuits of ground vehicles. This EPDM blanking plug also suits vacuum applications where no oil or fuel vapour is present, making it a simple fix for unused coolant hose connections.
The Gates blanking cap is made from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, withstands operating temperatures from -40°C to 125°C and is compatible with automotive coolants, corrosion inhibitors, cooling water, water and air. It is sold individually as a 10mm (3/8 inch) cap for single point blanking jobs.
