The Gates Water Blanking Cap 10mm (3/8 inch) Single GBC10 is designed to block off unused heater or coolant ports in the engine cooling circuits of ground vehicles. It also suits vacuum applications where no oil or fuel vapour is present, making it a versatile blanking plug for coolant hose plumbing.
Made from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, this blanking cap withstands operating temperatures from -40°C to 125°C and is compatible with automotive coolants, corrosion inhibitors, cooling water, water and air. The 10mm (3/8 inch) cap is sold individually for single-point blanking jobs.
