The Gates Micro-V Drive Belt 7PK1165 is a fibre-reinforced EPDM serpentine belt engineered for original equipment replacement and designed to meet or exceed all OE specifications. Built to provide excellent reliability with extended wear life, this belt resists heat, oil and other chemicals while eliminating belt noise and reducing tension loss across the accessory belt drive system.
The serpentine belt works alongside the tensioner and pulleys to ensure optimal performance of accessories including the alternator, water pump and air-conditioning compressor. Symptoms indicating belt replacement may be needed include rubber loss, glazing, pilling, abrasion or cracking.
