The Garrett GT4202R Turbo to suit 74.7mm 102.3mm 1.15A/R G774595-5006S is a ball bearing performance turbo built for high output engine builds. Its 74.7mm inducer and 102.3mm exducer compressor wheel is matched to an 82mm turbine wheel inside a 1.15 A/R turbine housing finished with a V-band flange for a quick, clamp-style exhaust connection. The free floating turbine design relies on an external wastegate to control boost pressure, and the unit is capable of supporting output up to 1000 HP in suitable high-performance applications.
Suited to large-displacement engines and drag racing style builds, the GT4202R carries Garrett's GT-series ball bearing centre housing for reduced shaft friction and sharper throttle response compared with journal bearing turbos of similar size.
