The Garrett GT1549S turbocharger to suit Renault Trafic 1.6L R9M 2014> 144115978R LP G883861-5001S is the low pressure stage turbo of the Trafic two stage charging system. It is a direct fit replacement for Renault Trafic III models built from 2014 with the 1.6 litre R9M diesel engine, covering the R9M408, R9M413, R9M450 and R9M452 engine codes.
The turbo charger uses a wastegated turbine housing with a pneumatically actuated control, working in sequence with the high pressure turbo to build boost from low engine speed. It supersedes the earlier Garrett low pressure units 821942-5007S, 821942-5009S, 821942-5010S and 821942-5011S, and cross references Renault OEM part number 144115978R.
