The Garrett Wastegate Actuator Rod End G432012-0022 is a replacement linkage end for Garrett turbocharger wastegate actuators. The rod end threads onto the actuator rod and locates over the wastegate flapper arm, where a retaining clip holds the joint together. Because it threads on, the effective rod length can be adjusted when setting actuator preload.
Garrett rod ends are ordered as service hardware when the original turbo actuator rod end is worn, bent or seized, and during performance turbo builds where the actuator linkage is assembled from individual components. This item is supplied as the rod end only, under Garrett part number G432012-0022.
