The Garrett GT28R60R Centre Housing Rotating Assembly G835998-5003S is a centre housing rotating assembly (CHRA), also referenced under the AKA -7 specification, built for the Garrett GT2860R turbocharger. It uses a ball bearing cartridge with water and oil cooled bearings to support stable operation at high rotational speeds. This CHRA is supplied as a replacement core for rebuilding or upgrading GT28 series turbochargers.
