The Garrett wastegate actuator 21 PSI to suit GT28RS GT2871R G480009-0010 is a genuine internal wastegate actuator for Garrett GT28 frame turbochargers. Preset at 21 PSI (1.5 bar), it controls when the internal wastegate cracks open, holding boost at a higher level than the 0.5 bar and 1 bar actuators listed for the same turbo range.
Garrett lists this actuator against its G, GT and GTX28 frame turbochargers, covering the GT28RS and GT2871R, so it is the straight replacement when an original wastegate can has a tired or leaking diaphragm. The part is supplied as the actuator assembly alone: the rod end, jam nut, bracket, heat shield and retaining clip are not included and are ordered separately.
