The Ezilift Rear Hatch Gas Lift Support Strut EZ3168 replaces a worn factory strut with OE quality performance. It uses a quench polished rod with a hardened, chromium plated steel shaft that reduces friction and resists corrosion, housed in a heavy gauge steel body finished with a zirconium oxide coating for added durability.
Ezilift gas struts, also known as lift supports or gas springs, are manufactured to meet or exceed original vehicle manufacturer standards. This strut is sold as a single unit, and Ezilift recommends replacing both struts on an application together to avoid uneven lifting, backed by a 3 year warranty.
