The Dobinsons Synthetic Rope Winch 12000Lbs EW80-3815S is a 12 volt electric winch rated to pull 12,000 lbs, built for 4WD recovery work. A 4.8kW/6.5HP series wound motor combines with a 216:1 gear reduction to generate strong, controlled pulling force, while the 9.5mm x 28m synthetic rope keeps overall weight down compared with an equivalent steel cable winch.
This synthetic rope winch mounts via a 254mm x 114.3mm bolt pattern and fits within overall dimensions of 160mm (W) x 210mm (H) x 545mm (L), so it suits most standard winch cradles and bull bars. An alloy hawse fairlead guides the rope smoothly onto the drum, and the complete unit weighs 26kg.
