Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the DBA’s 5000 Series Rotors combine high carbon cast iron rings with aerospace-grade aluminium hats (T6061-T6), secured together with National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts. The HD variant boasts a sleek OE-style rotor finish, appealing to drivers seeking the benefits of the 5000 Series without the need for slot, cross-drilled, or dimpled designs.
Sharing the performance technology of the 4000 Series, DBA’s 5000 Series brings further advancements in weight reduction and heat management through the aluminium hats. The aerospace-grade aluminium hats not only reduce unsprung weight but also ensure uniform radial disc expansion and minimise heat transfer from the disc to the hub.
DBA offers both complete assemblies and replacement hats and flat disc rotors, providing drivers with flexibility and cost-effective replacement options. The two-piece design allows for easy installation and maintenance, with hat and rings available as complete assemblies or individual components.
Symmetrical slots* facilitate efficient friction dust and gas dispersion, resulting in a quieter and more responsive pedal feel. The rotors feature anodised aluminium* hats to prevent rust and enhance appearance.
With features like CBN machine-turned finish, thermal stability profiling (TSP), centre-split core castings*, and Kangaroo Paw vein design*, DBA’s 5000 Series HD Brake Rotors deliver unmatched heat dissipation, braking effectiveness, and longevity.
Ideal for high-performance street vehicles, track day and club racing, rally applications, and show vehicles, the DBA 5000 Series Rotors sets a new standard in braking performance and reliability. Elevate your driving experience with DBA’s 5000 Series HD Brake Rotors.

Features
- SINGLE REPLACEMENT RING ONLY - not complete rotor
- Quieter & more responsive pedal feel with surface design slots and/or chamfered drill holes facilitate the exit of friction dust & gasses*
- Anodised aluminium* hat to prevent rust & enhance appearance plus Thermographic Heat Paint markings change colour at precise temperatures, aiding in the monitoring of braking temperatures & detecting rotor fatigue
- Reduced unsprung weight for better vehicle handling with aluma-lite centre hat/bell made from extralight 6061 T6 aircraft aluminium
- Bi-directional use symmetrical slotting and/or drilling for universal left/right use
- Increased rotor stability & durability from heat treatment cycles that realign the irons microstructure and increased heat transfer & thermal efficiency with Thermal Efficiency Centre-Split Core Castings *
- CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) machine turned finish ensures precision & uniformity, minimising disc thickness variation, reducing the risk of pad "knock" and premature wear
- High Carbon Alloyed Iron formulation is designed to interact optimally with DBA's thermal stability profiling (TSP), enhancing the rotor's ability to withstand continuous and intense heat over extended periods
- National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts for maximum strength at minimal weight
-
Unique Kangaroo Paw vane design enhances heat dissipation by up to 20%, improving braking performance and extending the life of your brakes *
