SmartDrive AGM technology accepts charge faster than a conventional flooded battery, matching regenerative braking systems that recover energy under deceleration. The sealed, maintenance free case measures 315mm x 175mm x 168mm x 190mm and weighs 24kg, with carry handles, a flame arrestor and recessed posts for safe handling and installation. Low self-discharge helps the battery retain charge during extended periods of vehicle inactivity. After fitting, the vehicle's battery management system may need to be reset or the new battery registered so the stop/start system operates correctly.
