The Century ISS Active EFB Stop/Start Car Battery Q85 MF 550CCA is an Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) for passenger cars with idle stop/start systems. It delivers 550 CCA and a 65Ah (C20) capacity, with EFB construction built for extra cycling durability over a conventional flooded battery during the frequent engine restarts stop/start driving demands.
The Q85 MF has a sealed, maintenance free case with a built in state of charge indicator for checking condition at a glance, plus integrated carry handles for easier handling during fitting. A flame arrestor adds a layer of protection inside the engine bay. The battery measures 230mm x 171mm x 202mm (222mm to the terminal), uses a C terminal arrangement with a standard post terminal type, and weighs 17.00kg.
After fitting, the vehicle's battery management system may need to be reset for the stop/start function to operate correctly. The Q85 MF is equivalent to parts from brands including Bosch (Q85), Varta (Q-85) and Supercharge (MFD23EF).
