The Castrol Red Rubber Grease 500g is a rubber compatible grease designed for rubber to rubber lubrication without causing hardening or swelling. It suits automotive hydraulic brake and clutch components where compatibility with natural rubber and SBR seals is required, and it also assists the assembly of natural and synthetic rubber parts in brake, clutch and suspension systems.
Castrol Red Rubber Grease is formulated with an inorganic Bentone thickener and a vegetable oil base, giving an NLGI 2.5 grease with a smooth, red consistency. It offers excellent stability at high temperatures, good corrosion resistant properties and a minimum dropping point of 160°C, and it meets the Lucas Girling TS-2-34-04 specification for reliable rubber seal lubrication in cars and light commercial vehicles.
