The Castrol High Temperature Grease Tub 500g is a lithium complex grease formulated for plain and rolling bearing applications operating beyond the limits of conventional lithium greases. This wheel bearing grease offers excellent thermal stability and load carrying performance, making it suitable for wheel bearings on vehicles that run at high speed over long distances or that generate higher than normal hub temperatures through prolonged heavy braking.
Castrol High Temperature Grease Tub 500g is the primary recommendation for vehicles fitted with disc brakes, and is also suited to general purpose greasing on industrial plant operating under high load and temperature. An optimised blend of lithium complex thickener and refined mineral base oil delivers reduced oil separation, resistance to hardening under pressure and good water resistance, while excellent EP and anti-wear properties help minimise bearing component wear under extreme loads.
