It is engineered for today's modern, higher revving sports and performance vehicles that demand a faster flowing oil under pressure.
This 10W-60 formulation maximises short and long term engine performance and delivers protection across a variety of driving conditions and temperatures, including the stronger loads placed on engines pushed to the max. It is not suitable for use in vehicles fitted with a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
Castrol EDGE 10W-60 suits high-performance vehicles from Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bugatti, Ferrari, Ford, FPV, Holden, McLaren, Porsche and Volkswagen. It is approved for BMW M-models and meets the VW 501 01/505 00 specification for vehicles requiring that approval.
