The Car Builders 4x4 Wagon Standard Pack floor pan reduces road noise, vibration and heat transfer. Model 4X4WGN1 is a complete sound deadening kit for the floor pan, inner quarter panels and rear wheel arches of a 4x4 wagon, weighs approximately 30kg, and contains everything needed to complete a full floor pan treatment in one order.
Three boxes (5.4 sq/m) of stage 1 sound deadener are applied to the floor pan, firewall, inner quarter panels and rear wheel arches to damp panel vibration at the source. Two boxes (3.6 sq/m) of waterproof carpet underlay — a 10mm thick closed-cell peel-and-stick foam — sit on top to replicate factory underlay and cut heat transfer through the floor. One sheet (1.5 sq/m) of mass noise liner installs directly onto the cargo area sheet metal as a removable sound blanket; its mass-loaded vinyl layer blocks low-frequency noise that foam alone cannot stop. The included install kit (application roller, utility knife, aluminium foil tape, stubby holder and bottle opener) means you can begin the installation straight out of the box.
