The Car Builders 4x4 Wagon Premium Sound Deadening Pack is a complete two-stage kit for 4WD owners. It targets road and exhaust noise across the floor pan, firewall, inner quarter panels, rear wheel arches and doors, combining 4 boxes (7.2 sq/m) of Stage 1 Sound Deadener with 4 sheets of Mass Noise Liner to form a layered sound insulation system weighing approximately 55 kg in total.
Stage 1 Sound Deadener is a pressure-sensitive butyl rubber mat with an aluminium top layer — no heat gun needed, no tar smell, and no risk of adhesive failure over time. Each 300 × 500 mm sheet peels and sticks directly to bare metal. The 3 sheets (4.5 sq/m) of Mass Noise Liner under the carpet deliver a 2-in-1 closed cell thermal and acoustic barrier with a heavy mass loaded vinyl face, while the single cargo-area sheet (1.5 sq/m) installs direct to sheet metal as a removable sound blanket — easy to lift and refit if the vehicle is ever flooded.
Everything needed for a first-time install is in the box: an application roller for pressing deadener into panel contours, a utility knife for trimming, a roll of foil tape for sealing joins, plus a Car Builders stubby holder and bottle opener for when the hard work is done.
