The Car Builders Short Wheel Base 4x4 Premium Pack - 4X4SHRT4 is a comprehensive sound deadening and thermal insulation kit designed for short wheel base 4x4 wagons such as the Toyota Land Cruiser 76 Series. This premium pack delivers multi-layer noise and heat control across the cabin, covering floor, roof and doors with 10.7 square metres of professional-grade materials.
The pack includes 4 boxes (7.2 sq/m) of Stage 1 Sound Deadener applied to the floorpan, inner quarter panels, door skins, roof and rear wheel arches to damp panel vibrations and road noise at the source. Over that sits 3 sheets (4.5 sq/m) of Mass Noise Liner — a 2-in-1 closed cell waterproof underlay with heavy weight mass loaded vinyl that acts as a sound blanket in the carpet and rear cargo areas, with carpet installed directly on top. Three further sheets (3 sq/m) of Insul-Layer peel-and-stick closed cell foam are fitted to the roof skin to cut noise and heat entering from above. Every pack includes a complete installation kit: application roller, utility knife, aluminium foil tape, plus a Car Builders stubby holder and bottle opener for the finished job.
