The Car Builders Land Cruiser 79 Single Cab Sound Deadening Pack reduces vehicle noise by treating the floor pan, rear wall, doors and plastic footrest. This acoustic kit applies Car Builders' staged approach to sound deadening — working from the outer panel skin inward to tackle vibration, airborne noise and residual heat in the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 Single Cab.
The pack includes 2 boxes (5.4 sq/m) of stage 1 sound deadener, a damping mat applied directly to the floor pan, rear firewall and door skins to eliminate panel drum noise, along with 2 pre-cut mass noise liner sheets sized to suit this cab. A box (1.7 sq/m) of 12mm peel-and-stick acoustic liner treats the rear firewall for an additional layer of heat and noise reduction, supplemented by an extra acoustic liner sheet for broader coverage. Everything needed to get started is included: application roller, utility knife, foil tape, stubby holder and bottle opener.
