The Bowden's Own Ta Ta Tar Remover 500mL is a citrus-based tar remover for Australian drivers tackling road tar, tree sap and stubborn residue. Its thick, viscous formula clings to vertical surfaces, bumpers, lower panels and doors, and penetrates deposits in around two minutes so they wipe away cleanly with a damp microfibre cloth, with no hard scrubbing required.
Ta Ta Tar is safe on clear-coated paintwork, chrome, alloy, glass, wheels and most plastics. Beyond tar, it also lifts sticky goo, sticker residue, tyre rubber marks and grease smears from paint and glass. Unlike older petroleum-solvent formulas, the new citrus blend is non-flammable, making it safer to store and transport. Note that Ta Ta Tar will strip previously applied waxes and sealants, so follow up with a fresh coat of protection once the surface is clean. Not recommended for single-stage paint, damaged or ageing plastics, or polycarbonate headlights.
