The Bowden's Own Paint Cleanse and Restore 500mL is a non-abrasive liquid paint cleanser designed for car enthusiasts who want a deep clean without compromising their paint. Unlike traditional car polishes, this abrasive-free formula penetrates the undulations of the paintwork to lift out embedded dirt, light oxidation, blemishes and old waxes, restoring depth, lustre and clarity to dull or tired finishes, all without leaving swirl marks or micro-scratches behind.
Paint Cleanse and Restore is clear coat safe and works by hand with a foam applicator pad or with a DA machine polisher for faster coverage. Simply work the product into a section until it turns clear, that's the signal it has done its job, then buff off the residue with a clean microfibre cloth. It performs best after a clay bar treatment to remove surface contaminants, and should always be followed with a protective wax or sealant such as Bowden's Own Carnauba Body Wax or Lazy Wax to lock in the results. As a paint correction cleaner, it is also widely known as a paint prep cleaner or pre-wax cleanser among detailing enthusiasts.
