The Bowden's Own Fine Clay Bar 2 Pack is a paint decontamination tool for car enthusiasts who want a glass-smooth finish without the risk of scratching. The super fine abrasive formula lifts bonded contaminants, embedded dirt, paint overspray, tree sap, industrial fallout and bug marks, that regular washing simply cannot shift, leaving paint, glass and hard chrome surfaces feeling perfectly smooth. Unlike cut and polish products, the Fine Clay Bar glides over the surface with a lubricant between bar and paint, safely shearing off contaminants without wearing down the clear coat.
The Fine Clay Bar is the recommended first step before applying Bowden's Own Paint Cleanse and Restore, a carnauba wax or a paint sealant, making those products work more effectively and last longer. The formula is fine enough that it won't strip an existing carnauba wax coat or paint sealant already on the car. Each pack includes two reusable, non-drying bars and a detailed instruction guide; one bar is good for approximately three cars depending on surface condition. A suitable lubricant, Boss Gloss detailing spray, Nanolicious Wash or Wax Wash, must always be used to keep the bar gliding freely.
