The Bowden's Own Down & Dirty Tyre & Underbody Cleaner 20L is a purpose-built tyre and underbody cleaner formulated for removing browning, old dressings and heavy grime. Packed with cutting-edge cleaning surfactants and chelating agents, Down & Dirty easily shifts tyre browning caused by anti-ozonant, old tyre shine dressings, and the heavier grime and red dirt build-up from bigger outdoor adventures. It is also super effective for removing stubborn red dirt, grime, mineral deposits, grease and oil from vehicle underbodies and inner guards, and works well as a deep-cleaning degreaser in engine bays.
Down & Dirty uses a non-caustic formula rather than the sodium metasilicate or sodium hydroxide found in some other tyre cleaners, making it safer on rubber sidewalls even with repetitive use. It is safe and non-damaging on rubber, plastic and non-porous underbody components, even with longer dwell times, and pairs well with the Little Stiffy brush for shifting mud and heavier build-up. Using Down & Dirty before applying Tyre Sheen, Sweet Rubber or the Under Armer underbody protection spray helps those products bond and last longer, and it also serves as a wheel cleaning option for sports cars fitted with carbon ceramic rotors and brakes.
