The Aerpro OEM Reverse Camera Retention Harness To Suit Hyundai APVHY01 is designed to retain the factory reverse camera when installing an aftermarket AV unit in selected Hyundai models. The harness connects via a 24 pin vehicle harness connector and outputs the camera signal through a yellow RCA connector, so the original reversing camera keeps working alongside a new head unit. A plug and play design means no cutting or splicing of the factory wiring is required.
A black flying wire provides the ground connection while a red flying wire carries the reverse signal trigger, activating the camera feed when reverse gear is selected. This retention harness suits Hyundai iX35 2014 onward OEM Navigation models, Hyundai i30 2012 to 2017 GD, Hyundai iX35 2013 to 2015 Series 2, Hyundai Elantra 2013 to 2015 MD3 and Hyundai Santa Fe 2013 to 2018 DM, with some models dependent on the fitted head unit.
