The Aerpro Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface APUNISW5 lets you install an aftermarket head unit while retaining steering wheel controls in over 900 vehicles. It supports major head unit brands including Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Panasonic, Pioneer and Sony, and includes a universal patch lead for connection. Button functions can be remapped via free PC software, and the interface works across Analogue, CAN-Bus, GM Class II, iBus and Matrix vehicle platforms.
The APUNISW5 hard wires into the vehicle and outputs accessory, illumination, speed pulse, park brake and reverse gear signals, with a dipswitch configuration set to match the vehicle's platform. It operates on a 12 volt system and suits over 900 vehicle applications, including Australian built models.
