The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface to suit Toyota AXTYAMP2 retains factory steering wheel controls when upgrading to an aftermarket head unit. It is designed specifically for Toyota vehicles fitted with a factory JBL OEM amplified system, retaining the factory amplifier including its audio balance function, and also retains the vehicle's OEM AUX input for connection to compatible aftermarket head units with a rear AUX input.

This steering wheel control interface uses a vehicle specific plug that connects directly into the existing Toyota wiring, so no cutting of wires is required on the vehicle. Connection between the interface harness and the aftermarket head unit must be hardwired, as this interface is not compatible with the Aerpro Plug and Play ISO harness system, and steering wheel control programming is required after installation. The unit is Micro USB updatable.
