The Aerpro steering wheel control interface to suit Mercedes & Volkswagen CHMC2C lets you fit an aftermarket head unit while keeping factory steering wheel controls. It connects via an 8 way ISO connector with no cutting of the factory wiring harness, and is CANBUS compatible with output feeds for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse and illumination. The aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible, and an Aerpro SWC patch lead type C is required separately to enable the steering wheel control functions.
This interface suits Mercedes C-Class, CLK, Sprinter, A-Class, Vito and Volkswagen Crafter models fitted without the Audio 15 original stereo. Pairing it with the optional Aerpro APP9 head unit secondary ISO harness and SWC patch lead further simplifies aftermarket head unit installation.
