The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface to suit Ford Ranger PX MkII CHFO14C lets you fit an aftermarket head unit while keeping factory steering wheel controls. The interface connects via a vehicle specific plug and patch lead Type C, with no cutting of the factory wiring harness required. It is CANBUS compatible and provides output feeds for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse and illumination, and also supports the OEM phone button on compatible aftermarket Bluetooth head units.
This steering wheel control harness works with any SWC compatible aftermarket head unit, though steering wheel control functions may vary from the factory setup. An SWC patch lead is required separately to enable the steering wheel controls, and pairing with an Aerpro APP9 secondary ISO harness and SWC patch lead further simplifies installation. Firmware can be updated to add voice assistant button support. USB and AUX retention and the time, date and trip computer display are not supported on installations to suit Ford Ranger PX MkII.
