The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface to suit DAF Trucks CF & XF CHDF2C lets owners fit an aftermarket head unit while keeping the factory steering wheel controls. It suits DAF Trucks CF & XF models that have a radio connector but no OEM headunit, and connects via a vehicle specific plug without cutting any factory wiring. A CANBUS interface with a Patch Lead Type C connector handles the signal conversion, and the harness provides an output feed for illumination.
Installation of the aftermarket headunit is simplified when this interface is paired with the optional Aerpro APP9 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead, which connects between the aftermarket headunit and the interface. A Steering Wheel Control Patch Lead is required separately to enable the steering wheel controls to function, and the aftermarket headunit must be SWC compatible.
