The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface to suit Volkswagen CHVW7C lets you fit an aftermarket headunit while keeping your factory steering wheel controls. Designed for Volkswagen models with OEM Dynaudio amplified systems, it is fitted with a vehicle specific plug that connects directly into the existing wiring, so no cutting of the factory harness is needed. The interface is CANBUS compatible and provides output feeds for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse and amp remote.
Installation is simplified further when paired with the optional Aerpro APP9 headunit secondary ISO harness and SWC patch lead, which connects between the aftermarket headunit and this interface. A steering wheel control patch lead is required separately to enable steering wheel control functions, and the aftermarket headunit must be SWC compatible. This harness suits Volkswagen EOS, Golf MK5, Golf MK6, Jetta, Passat, Passat Wagon, Polo, Caddy, Scirocco, Tiguan and Transporter T5.
