The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface to suit Mazda 6 GH CHMZ0C is engineered to let you upgrade to an aftermarket headunit while retaining your factory steering wheel controls. It suits Mazda 6 GH Series 1 models from 2008 to 2009 fitted with the OEM Bose amplified audio system, and connects via a vehicle specific plug so no cutting of the factory wiring harness is required. The CANBUS interface provides output feeds for reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse and illumination, and retains the factory Bose amplified system once the blue/white wire is connected to the aftermarket headunit.
Installation requires an aftermarket headunit that is SWC compatible, along with an Aerpro SWC patch lead sold separately to enable the steering wheel control functions. Pairing the interface with the optional Aerpro APP9 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness and SWC Patch Lead further simplifies fitting the new headunit.
