The Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface to suit Hyundai iX35, i40, Kia Sorento, Soul CHHY6C retains factory steering wheel controls when fitting an aftermarket head unit. It connects to Hyundai iX35, Hyundai i40, Kia Sorento and Kia Soul vehicles fitted with OEM amplified sound systems, using a vehicle specific plug that requires no cutting of the factory wiring harness. The interface supports the OEM phone button on compatible aftermarket Bluetooth head units and retains fade control on amplified systems, with output feeds for speed pulse and amp remote.
A Type C SWC patch lead is required, sold separately, to enable the steering wheel control functions once the interface is connected to the aftermarket head unit. Installation is simplified further when paired with the optional Aerpro APP9 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness and SWC Patch Lead, which connects between the aftermarket head unit and this interface.
